Week 4
Welcome to week 4!
Nutrition Challenge: Smoothies: this week we are talking about digestion. Good digestion aka gut health, is the key to overall good health, energy and vibrancy. I love smoothies because they’re a great way to get a ton of nutrients and it’s easy on your digestive system because the food is blended up(less work for your body). Your nutrition challenge this week is to have at least 4 smoothies. You’ve received smoothie recipes in your recipe guides from the past few weeks, plus we’ve got some new ones for week 4.
Two key components to smoothies: Protein and Fiber. Ideally you’ll want around 10 grams of fiber and 20 grams of protein. You’ll be able to see nutrition facts for the smoothie recipes and you can always adjust if necessary.
